Responsibilities:

* Communicate proactively with customers to resolve disputes and collect past due amounts.
* Research and process customer discrepancies. This may include customer documentation review, local ERP research of disputed amounts, cross-functional teamwork with team members, and discussions with management.
* Work collaboratively with Accounting Department to meet company goals
* Release credit blocks by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contacts
* Support month end closing including the preparation of the general entry and monthly account statement
* Review accounts in a timely manner
* Prepare weekly updated reports
* Support and verify credit card payments
* Perform general office duties such as filing and handling routine correspondence
* Additional duties as assigned

Key Competencies:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to identify and research necessary information
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Detail oriented
* Reliable and timely
* Dependable team player

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
* 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred but not required
* Experience working with SAP preferred but not required
* Data Analysis experience preferred but not required

Accounts Receivable Specialists work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm (flexible schedules available). This role works 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
