Position Overview:

The Material Handler is responsible for various tasks related to the movement and management of products and materials within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, and storage of products.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining accurate records.
  • Handle heavy items and operate motorized equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers, as needed.
  • Prepare and document merchandise for shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges.
  • Organize and distribute materials in inventory and on production lines.
  • Assist in preparing kitting packages for assembly as required.
  • Work on routine assignments under close supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Experience with RF units.
  • Familiarity with order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.

This role is essential to ensuring efficient warehouse operations and maintaining high standards of service.
