Role Summary:  The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects involving the installation of control systems in buildings. The Project Manager will also be responsible for constructability reviews, conceptual estimating, consultation, bid/change order pricing, project management, change management and coordinating with project teams on technology or client scopes of work. This position is expected to be a subject matter expert, who, through the demonstration of strong leadership, communication and project management skills effectively integrates technology scopes on selected projects.  Candidate must be able to make decisions within defined limits of authority with consultation supervisor on other decisions All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of Bravia Servies. 
Experience & Education:
  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Security, Building Automation Systems, Fire Alarm, Digital Antenna Systems, and other data related systems (Required).
  • 5+ years of project management experience (Required) – Industrial experience preferred.
  • OSHA 10 hour certification (or greater).
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, IT or related field.
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Working Environment:
  • Valid and unrestricted drivers license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
  • May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).
  • Assignment location may include project sites and/or in the office.
  • Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen, Standing, Walking.
  • Occasional activity: Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling.
Key Role Responsibilities:
  • Supports all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
  • Coordinate technology related design and construction efforts that meet the constructability, quality, financial and technical standards.
  • Provide technical expertise related to design assist, installation, and network integration of complete and related systems.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and obtains vendor & trade partner pricing to compile complete & accurate budgets or hard bid proposals for changes.
  • Manage budgets, schedule, staffing projections, billing and collections relating to assigned projects.
  • Assist with the development, dissemination, accountability and discipline of Client's processes and standards.
  • Lead, coach and motivate team members in a proactive manner, consistent with the Bravia Services core values.
  • As part of the project master schedule, develop and manage a project plan & schedule to identify tasks, resources and timing to achieve project objectives (scope, schedule, cost, quality).
  • Track and report progress on the achievement of project milestone(s) with team members, stakeholders and team leaders.
  • Communicate, track and resolve issues in an effective and prompt manner throughout the life of the project.
  • Ensure that all project documents are properly managed and archived upon project completion.
  • In addition to the key role responsibilities, the Project Manager shall also be responsible for the following:
  • Management of the technology consulting process between Client and client/owner’s consultants and contractors.
  • Initiate business development activities to grow the Bravia Services contribution to the client organization.
  • Participate and support Bravia Services project pursuit activities to maximize the value-added benefits to customers (internal and external).
  • Facilitate internal and external training to generate awareness of the Bravia Services offerings.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Assist in maintaining and growing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
  • Communication skills, verbal and written – Intermediate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Intermediate.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively develop project proposals, fees and work plans.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong personal and interpersonal skills as a self-starter with strong follow through.
  • Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project.
