Construction Production Manager

We are actively seeking a Construction Production Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a mid-sized residential and commercial building services company to keep projects completed on time, within budget, compliant with safety standards and satisfactory to the customer. This role works with the organization's owner, vendors, subcontractors, construction workers, and other state and private stakeholders to plan, supervise, facilitate, and optimize the construction management process. The Construction Production Manager is driven by a commitment to quality and due process. They exhibit excellent leadership, delegation, and supervisory skills, superior customer service and client engagement capabilities, and time and financial management skills.

Construction Production Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective project budgets and plans.

  • Select and collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.

  • Appropriately staff and supervise various residential and commercial construction sites simultaneously, with a focus on maintaining safety, compliance, customer satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.

  • Interpret and select construction methods, contracts and drawings of the project.

  • Focus primarily on project supervision and customer service, while managing, delegating, organizing and coaching construction staff.

 

Construction Production Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

  • 5+ years experience in construction project management.

  • Up-to-date safety trainings, other certifications preferred but not required.

  • Deep understanding of construction best practices and building compliance and permitting laws.

  • Ability to make and defend decisions when faced with ambiguity.

  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel and work on site at active projects.
