This position can be remote. Up to 50 percent travel.

Overview:The National SCM Training Lead will support the team by executing the national training strategy for all parties involved in the process. They will also utilize the KPI dashboards to determine where training opportunities exist. In addition, this role will be responsible for delivering key communications through established mediums. The role will report directly to the National Training Development Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the National SCM team’s execution of supply planning - jointly accountable for forecast accuracy at the national level
  • Execution of new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
  • Organize and update training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials based on the latest information
  • Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
  • Consult with regional leads and directors to identify training needs based on performance results, changes, and other factors
  • Map out training plans for individual employees
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness 
  • Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
  • Keep current on training design and methodology
 
Additional Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (technical field preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, Business Planning, or Statistical Modelling, preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, and professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including the ability to present concepts verbally
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Travel required to support the national team; up to 50%
 
Physical Demands:
  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
