Overview: Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Epic Resolute Professional Billing Claims specialist experienced in working with Revenue Cycle operations teams and end users within organization and other outside parties as necessary to trouble shoot build issues, operational issues and other technical issues. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Provide efficient and effective knowledge about Epic OCHIN practice management system navigation to the internal RCM team members to maximize utilization of the system and support revenue cycle performance indicators for client financial health.
  • Support internal RCM dept efforts to develop and implement effective Epic workflows.
  • Complete assigned team tasks as part of the RCM team.
  • Responsible for identifying, resolving and escalating trends to oversight manager/s where improvements can be made. 
  • In conjunction with RCM manager/s, this position will provide day-to-day operational guidance to Billing Staff on WQ navigation and assignments and can provide on the job training.
  • Continuously improve understanding of collection processes and strategies by working with colleagues within Epic OCHIN practice management system.
  • Partner with Billing team to ensure accurate processing and billing of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Worker’s Compensation, other government programs, motor vehicle, personal injury and protections, third party payer experience, self-payer/uninsured and commercial insurance processing patient claims in accordance with payer requirements and organization policy.
  • Delivers interactive training that meets the learning objectives of the RCM teams.
  • May assist and contribute to new learning workflows, and training aids
  • Act as a workflow resource to RCM members.
  • Provides business perspective (i.e., potential operations issues) that result from client issues/obligations
  • Works collaboratively with other departments to achieve desired results.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Experience 2+ years healthcare experience in a Revenue Cycle Systems.
  • Certification in Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Epic Professional Billing Claims is a plus.
  • Certifications in Epic Benefits Engine Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Remittances or HB Reimbursement Contracts or Revenue Integrity is a plus.
