American River Health Care, a locally owned and operated agency, is seeking a skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and effective management of our billing process. Collaborating with our office staff and clinicians, you will contribute to the restoration of our patients' health.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in home infusion billing and collections to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
- Prepare and review patient bills, invoices, and statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and insurance requirements.
- Work closely with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues and ensure proper reimbursement.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims, ensuring timely resolution and maximum reimbursement.
- Keep up-to-date with industry changes, regulations, and best practices in revenue cycle management.
- Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Infusion medical billing/revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing processes.
- Preferred experience in home infusion Medicare/PBM billing (bonus).
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and guidelines related to billing and collections.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant billing software and electronic health record systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
- This is a full-time position.
- The compensation for this role is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour.
