Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Compensation and Benefits Specialist for a growing client in Atlanta, Georgia.  The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will administer the employee compensation, benefits, and payroll programs, policies, processes, and tools.  This individual MUST have Workday experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer company’s benefit programs; including leaves of absence.
  • Support the benefits broker as requested to collect accurate quotes from benefit providers.  Based on Broker provided data, make recommendations on vendors/carriers and plan changes based on quotes, available benefits, and prior experience.
  • Process accurate and timely payroll.
  • Advise and inform employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions, and deployment of the Annual Benefits Open Enrollment process.
  • Facilitate accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.
  • Monitor administrators’ and insurance carriers’  to ensure the organization’s compliance with plan requirements and accurate billing.
  • Maintain accuracy of HRIS data and module set-up.
  • Ensure compliance with the legal regulations including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
  • Support internal and external plan audits as they occur.
  • Ensure Compensation is administered in a consistent and fair manner as outlined by our Compensation Philosophy and in accordance with policies, processes, framework, and documented bonus plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable benefits and compensation plans.
  • Stay up to date on knowledge, trends, developments, and best practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure HR data is provided to the leadership team.
  • Perform other related duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related required.
  • Five years of experience administering payroll, compensation, and benefits programs using Workday required.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, or payroll certification preferred.
  • History of demonstrated strong performance in an HR role.
  • Foster a positive culture of teamwork within HR.
  • Ability to clearly articulate a position and communicate with leaders/managers.
  • Provide leadership and knowledge in compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
