ROLE OVERVIEW

The Compensation and Benefits Coordinator will handle sensitive and intricate tasks with expertise in various administrative and human resources functions.

This role involves assisting with payroll preparation and processing, benefits administration, and HR operations, including onboarding and compliance management.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy in all employee payroll data.
- Conduct data entry for new hires, terminations, bonuses, commissions, leaves of absence, payroll calculations, and deductions.
- Coordinate, review, and reconcile payroll processed through ADP.
- Manage tax adjustments, direct deposits, loan repayments, and other payroll-related changes.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations regarding payroll deductions.
- Prepare 401k submissions for third-party administration.
- Review and reconcile payroll deductions and contributions.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll matters.
- Facilitate accurate year-end reporting as required (e.g., W-2 forms).
- Oversee annual benefits renewals and open enrollment, recommending enhancements to benefit offerings as needed.
- Assist employees with inquiries regarding onboarding, claims, benefits eligibility, and leave administration.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of termination and severance documentation.
- Serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries and manage vendor relationships.

OFFICE MANAGEMENT:
- Responsible for office supply ordering, office maintenance, and event organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits administration.
- Familiarity with ADP systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of US state and federal regulations governing benefit plans.
- Ability to establish rapport with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
