YOUR IMPACT

As a Sales Director at OpenText, you'll have a significant opportunity to manage all aspects of your region’s business, driving growth and customer satisfaction. Your strategic planning and execution will ensure that assigned sales objectives and quotas are met or exceeded. As a seasoned sales professional, your ability to engage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives will be key to their success and your region's achievements.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Lead and direct a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota targets.
  • Grow customer satisfaction across the assigned region by providing exemplary service and support.
  • Develop, implement, and measure regional sales strategies and plans, ensuring accurate forecasts.
  • Assist in sales efforts, legal contracting, and resolving customer issues, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Attract, engage, and retain a team of high-performing Account Executives, fostering a culture of success.
  • Train, develop, and direct your team in product knowledge, time and territory management, and competitive insights.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and host regularly scheduled performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in various headquarter/regional planning and training activities to stay aligned with company goals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s Degree and significant enterprise software sales experience with prior sales leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the Enterprise Information Management market, including competitors, partners, and related industries.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed regional sales targets, demonstrating a passion for leading teams and driving results.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to manage strategic plans in collaboration with partner and company executives.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and employ creative, effective decision-making to solve problems and achieve results.
  • Knowledge of key accounts and connections within the region is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.

SALARY STATEMENT
This job is expected to pay a minimum of $180,000 USD in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
