Job Summary

The Territory Sales Manager will be the face of Oldcastle for our MoistureShield Decking brand in their given territory (CT, RI, MA). The position will work closely with the Regional Sales Director and implement processes to develop more business in the traditional 2-step distribution channel.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Improving and leading the assigned territory to increase sales at Retail lumber yards and assist with PK’S and special order of MoistureShield throughout the territory.
  2. Leading and coordinating sales functions.
  3. Coordinating and conducting training on our products for store personnel.
  4. Represents MoistureShield and attends trade home shows to promote our product.
  5. Investigating and, if applicable, resolving customer claims to reinforce relationship between customer and local store.
  6. Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
  7. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  8. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  9. Responsible for pull through sales to builders, architects and homeowners.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5+ years related experience in Sales.
  2. Experience in the building material space is a plus.
  3. Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
  4. Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  6. Travel up to 50% with some overnight travel.
