The Role:

As a Administrative Associate you will be responsible for the transportation of goods and materials for a company, working with drivers, shipping companies, and other logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery in good condition. Their responsibilities include:

  • Operations
    • Overseeing day-to-day dispatching operations, managing drivers' schedules, and communicating with stakeholders
  • Relationships
    • Building and maintaining relationships with drivers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Tracking
    • Tracking inventory movements and managing the inventory database to ensure inventory is moving efficiently and effectively
  • Administration
    • Supervising administrative formalities and keeping documentation organized and up to date
  • Some skills that may be helpful for this role include:
    • Adaptability: Being able to respond to change and recover from problems quickly
    • Organization and time management: Being able to set priorities and handle a high volume of work
    • Attention to detail: Being good with numbers and weight calculations
    • Communication: Being able to listen and communicate verbally

Requirements

    • Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
    • Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods
    • Fast typing with experience in data entry
    • Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
    • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Active listener with excellent communication skills
    • Sound judgement and critical thinking
    • High school diploma
