JOB SUMMARY:
Provides general administrative and data management support the Community Health programs. Independently performs various administrative, data management, and quality assurance duties. Responsible for training community health partners and stakeholders on electronic data collection systems. Assists with the data collection infrastructure and runs reports for data analysis. Acts as the primary point person for community health data collection. Carries out all duties within related regulations, agency and departmental policies and procedures for ethical conduct, confidentiality, and security.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs responsibilities including word processing, data entry, reports, labels/mailings, copying and filing, and faxing.
• Handles variety of matters involving contact with various staff, committee members, consortium members, and community stakeholders
• Order and inventory of all items for program activities, including resources for harm reduction kits, medical equipment such as blood pressure cuffs, and outreach items.
• Attends local, regional, or state meetings; reports back on major points and resolutions/action to be taken.
• Provides input in the development of new products/services and strategies to maintain and enhance program’s position in the community.
• Coordinates meetings and scheduling for partners; arranges location, sends reminders/updates, and ensures needs are met.
• Attends community health meetings to record and distribute meeting minutes and materials.
• Manages community health social media accounts.
• Promotes upcoming events and represents programs at outreach events in the community regularly.
• Attends various funder supported learning collaboratives, trainings, and webinars.
• Maintains and organizes resources for community health programs in shared file locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and skill required for the job.
• Obtains and documents data reports from various community health partners.
• Completes relevant data entry across multiple platforms for agency reporting and data collection.
• Completes Captain data entry
• Organize and maintain all incoming data files and assist in the development of data management strategies
• Produce ad-hoc reports as needed to document and report on program success.
• Provides tech support; responds to requests, provides coaching/training as needed.
• Develops instructional guides, job aids and communications for database system users.
• Performs quality assurance tasks for data collection processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be proficient in a variety of computer applications, word processing and database programs.
• Must demonstrate proper use of grammar, spelling, punctuation and medical terminology.
• Must be organized and able to carry out routine tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, set priorities, and follow complex oral and written directions.
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment on assignments and develop methods to accomplish duties; seek assistance with difficult problems.
• Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to speak in front of a diverse group of partners/stakeholders
• Ability to assist in a range of systems training and/or support activities for partners.
• Ability to create data capture and input specifications.
• Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License and maintain driving record and certification within agency policy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate's degree with formal software/database training
• 1 - 3 years related experience; or
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Experience in customer service with the public desired.

Grade 8

Full-Time 37.5 Hours per week

Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
