Mount Indie is seeking a Human Capital Analyst to support the Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs Programming and Resources Division (SAF/IAPR), Human Capital Development Branch. This role focuses on manpower and process improvement.


Job Responsibilities:


Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Organizational Support: Create organizational and functional charts for all divisions and directorates, applying manpower standards and performing analysis.
  • Data Coordination: Work with SAF/AAR and 811th FSS to obtain monthly Unit Manpower Documents (UMDs) and Unit Personnel Management Rosters (UMPRs).
  • Manpower Actions: Initiate and ensure accurate depiction of all Government-directed manpower change actions in UMDs and UMPRs.
  • Reporting: Maintain and update the internal manning/personnel Situation Report (SITREP) weekly, incorporating UMD and UMPR details for leadership review.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile all manpower products to reflect changes, updates, and deletions.
  • Manpower Studies: Draft change actions for various programs and conduct studies to define manpower requirements.
  • Data Management: Assist in the collection, storage, and management of manpower update information for current and future fiscal years.
  • Team Participation: Actively participate in the Manpower Integrated Process Team to review work processes and evaluate position mix.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to human capital services, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Communication: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for researching, writing, and coordinating communication materials.
  • Professional Interaction: Communicate effectively across the civilian and military spectrum from Action Officer to General Officer/Flag Officer.
  • Location: Perform duties at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., and/or via Government-approved telework arrangement.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: Over 7 years of experience in USAF manpower and personnel program management.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of USAF roles, missions, human capital development, and workforce initiatives.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Clearance: Hold an active Secret Clearance.
