Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for qualified candidates who will be responsible for ensuring all production runs adhere to the company’s food safety and quality standards. Maintaining all aspects and system of production that relate to Quality Assurance and Control. The qualified candidate will need to stay focused on identifying goals and expectations of your team and production. The qualified candidate will need to provide clear and accurate documentation of all quality checks, assist with production related issues to ensure high quality and food safety, maintain food safety and quality through the facility and assist production to ensure programs and policies are being followed. Food Safety Requirements:
  • Maintain food safety and quality by ensuring compliance with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Report any food safety issues to authorized personnel who can take action. Monitor daily production to guarantee high quality and adherence to food safety standards. Ensure that personnel hygiene and welfare practices are upheld within the facility.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Work environment contains office, manufacturing and outdoor workspaces where this position is required to access and work. The position requires the qualified candidate to be able to frequently walk, stand and climb; bend and twist; see, hear and talk; use hands to finger, handle or feel tool, controls or products; use hands and arms to reach, hold and carry tools or products. Frequently lifting/moving up to 30lbs is also required; occasional lifting/transferring of objects may be required with assistance up to 50 lbs. This positions also requires the qualified candidate to handle environments of different temperatures and with various food allergens present. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 1 years’ experience in Lab environment.
  • Computer knowledge is essential.
  • Organizational and Administrative knowledge.
  • Ability to work well with people.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of weight and volume
    measurements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language; speak, understand, and read written and verbal instructions, policies and procedures
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform required tasks safely, in a fast paced work environment; ensuring food safety, quality and efficiency standards are achieved
  • Positive attitude and a passion for quality food and ice cream a plus

Schedule: 2nd Shift only
Mon. & Thurs.-3pm-1:30am
Tues. & Fri.-5pm-3:30am
No work on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Overtime included if needed or required.

Payment Method: Direct deposit, paycard or live check.
