- Conduct visual inspections to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Verify proper labeling on all cartons for traceability.
- Ensure master cases are printed and sealed correctly.
- Adhere to color coding protocols to avoid cross-contamination.
- Remove empty packaging materials from the production line.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report any issues to machine operators.
- Perform visual checks for product quality.
- Comply with safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, repetitive work environment while maintaining production speed.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in a respectful workplace.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards by keeping work areas clean.
- Report any food safety concerns to authorized personnel.
- Engage in food safety training sessions.
- Contribute to a safe and respectful work environment by adhering to company policies and proactively addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to perform additional tasks as required to meet company objectives.
- Proficient in English, with the ability to read, write, and understand effectively.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience in food manufacturing or a similar setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with weight and volume measurements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining composed under pressure.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to perform tasks safely in a dynamic work environment while meeting food safety and quality standards.
- A positive attitude and a passion for quality food products are advantageous.
- Overtime may be necessary based on workload demands.
This position requires access to various workspaces, including manufacturing and outdoor areas. Candidates must be able to walk, sit, and climb stairs; possess good vision, hearing, and communication abilities; and have the dexterity to handle tools and controls. The role may involve lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier objects up to 75 lbs, and continuous handling of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
