Role Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our programs and services meet the highest standards of quality and that clients receive exceptional care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough audits to guarantee compliance with established standards.
  • Monitoring and updating policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes.
  • Utilizing MS Excel for statistical data analysis and comparisons.
  • Developing quality improvement strategies by assessing operational activities and administrative systems.
  • Compiling and analyzing performance metrics to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Reviewing operational procedures and making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzing customer feedback and advising management on potential improvements.
  • Communicating effectively with program management, exercising sound judgment and diplomacy.
  • Documenting staff performance to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Providing comprehensive audit reports to management regarding program quality and performance status.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Care Management, or a related field such as Psychology or Vocational Rehabilitation, along with three years of direct customer service experience in a clinical or social service setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in conducting quality assurance audits.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with publicly funded programs.
  • Familiarity with Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Individual Vocational Assessment Plans.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/PII laws and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Word Suite and various client management systems.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred.
