Role Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough audits to guarantee that programs and services meet the highest standards, ensuring clients receive exceptional care.
  • Monitoring and updating policies and procedures in accordance with funder, partner, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizing MS Excel for statistical data analysis and comparisons.
  • Creating quality enhancement processes by evaluating operational activities and administrative systems.
  • Compiling, recording, and analyzing performance and compliance data to uphold quality standards.
  • Reviewing clinical assessment procedures and recommending improvements.
  • Developing and executing continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzing customer feedback and providing management with actionable recommendations for enhancements.
  • Communicating effectively with program management, exercising sound judgment and diplomacy.
  • Documenting staff performance to ensure timely and accurate service delivery according to established procedures.
  • Providing audit reports to management and keeping them informed about program quality and performance matters.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Care Management, or a related field such as Psychology, Vocational Rehabilitation, or Occupational Rehabilitation, along with three years of direct customer service experience in a clinical or social service setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in conducting quality assurance audits.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with publicly funded programs.
  • Familiarity with Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Individual Vocational Assessment Plans.
  • Knowledge of assessing client needs and providing reasonable accommodations.
  • Understanding of HIPAA/PII laws and regulatory requirements relevant to program responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word Suite and various client management systems.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred.
