The Role

Futuro Health seeks to expand the team with the addition of an Associate Program Manager – Human Services Pathway. They have a significant impact on the division and contribute to the organization's overall mission and growth.


Essential Job Functions:


Organizational Impact:

  • Serve as the liaison for Futuro Health and Human Services Pathways collection to coordinate and manage pathway-specific training programs.
  • Collaborate with division management and staff to ensure alignment between program and training needs, curriculum requirements, and available externship/ clinical placement options.
  • Contributes to the development of program review, assessment, and planning.
  • Education provider management of Pathways by Design, with the goal of contributing to the organization’s annual goal scholars served.
  • Support division management in adherence to the approved yearly budget with contributions to cost savings and reductions.
  • Attend standing All Hands meetings and divisional meetings.
  • Complete HR goal setting, mid-year, and year-end update processes.

Pathway Leadership:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the associate pathways manager role to ensure that programs adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Liaison with the Director of Workforce Development and Clinical Partnership and the Manager of Clinical Externships in identifying appropriate employers’ partnerships and potential internship sites based on their geolocations as appropriate.
  • Provide guidance and support to success coaches before the program implementation on all aspects related to the program, changes in the pathway, and any collateral materials needed to enhance the scholar experience.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure scholars meet their program requirements and progress toward their educational goals for capstone.

Program Portfolio Management:

  • Play a significant role in shaping the overall strategic direction of the Pathways by Design model to meet the organization’s needs for workforce training with employers.
  • Serve as the lead facilitator in programs offered by Futuro Health featured as the education provider, as program offerings in Pathways by Design model.
  • When appropriate, serve as the facilitator or backup support facilitator for Human Services course(s), i.e., Peer Support Specialist, Community Health Worker, or future programs for scholars in Pathway by Design.
  • Develop and implement program strategies in alignment with the division's goals.
  • Oversee multiple programs, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitor program performance and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Manages and maintains program portfolio, which includes evaluating program courses and outcomes, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for recommendations to renew or develop program updates.
  • Collaborate with other Program Managers and Associate Program Managers to align programming and pathways design and cross-over programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
  • Present pertinent data to division management on a frequent basis for continuous quality improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for program growth and improvement, as well as potential risks or challenges.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, funders, and other stakeholders to demonstrate program outcomes and progress.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:

  • Work with other Futuro Health divisions to facilitate recruitment towards numerical goals.
  • Collaborate with external organizations and partners to enhance program effectiveness and expand reach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and beneficiaries.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to clinical placement coordination.
  • Communicate program successes and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintains communication with division management and other critical leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned related to the job role.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to compose business correspondence and edit and use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and to handle sensitive/confidential information, issues, and requests.
  • Skill in communicating effectively and professionally using emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work independently and use effective decision-making skills based on current policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions following established policies and procedures.
  • Skill in independently researching questions and making appropriate contacts when problem-solving.
  • Able to independently research questions and facilitate communication when problem-solving.
  • Able to translate valid key points from dictated or recorded meeting sessions and provide bullet point notes for follow-up or next steps.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise with computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and office equipment.

Education:

Candidate must have training in a health-related career, hold a current license or certification in an allied health career, or 2 years of relevant and related work experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.


Work Environment/Travel:

This is a remote role. Travel will also be required to attend meetings and conferences.


Supervisory Responsibility:

This role does not have supervisory responsibility over staff.


Physical Demands: The capacity to lift 25 pounds is required. Able to drive, sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Ability to work irregular hours including after hours and weekends although this will be infrequent.


Position Type: This position is full-time. The hours may include weekends, nights and holidays.
