As the Staff Services Manager II within the Behavioral Health Grants Section, you will oversee personnel management and the strategic planning, organization, and monitoring of various funding initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing the State's Naloxone Distribution Project, medication-assisted treatment expansion projects, and the CalHOPE Crisis Counseling and Assistance Training Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for opioid-related initiatives and emergency grant oversight.
  • Supervise two critical units: the Contracts and Policy Unit and the Disaster Response Unit.
  • Collaborate with state departments, federal agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Engage in periodic travel as required for program oversight.
