You will be providing maintenance and cleaning tracks at several WMATA stations.


Characteristics and Example of Duties


The duties listed below represent the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them if the work is related or a logical assignment to this class.


  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Debris removal from determined locations.
    • Performs related work as required
    • Shall clear designated areas of debris, trash, mud.
    • Bulk Material: Removal of debris to include but not limited to dirt, mud, leaves, tree branches, calcite, trash, etc.
    • Responsible for the safety and security of company equipment.
    • Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other employees in a professional and friendly manner.


Work shall be rendered in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and codes.


Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience performing janitorial and cleaning tasks


Must be able to pass required criminal background screenings.


Must be able to pass WMATA RWP Test.


Must be able to work from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Sunday thru Thursday (8 Hour Shifts)
