Social Services Specialist
Annual Salary:
- Level I H20A: $36,811.95 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level II H20B: $39,571.76 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Social Services Specialist I
- A Bachelor's Degree
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience in professional social work for each year of the required education.
Social Services Specialist II
- A Master's degree;
- OR a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in professional social work;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and social work, substituting one year of professional social work for each year of the required education.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing social services to clients
- Assessing needs and determining eligibility for specific programs and services
- Managing a caseload requiring both broad and specialized knowledge of all social service programs including maintaining contractual compliance of OKDHS approved specialized foster homes.
- Contact outside public and private health and welfare agencies and community resources to assist in obtaining aid for clients and their families
