As a Principal Contracts Administrator at STR, you'll be at the forefront of Research & Development, System/Product Development, and Mission Solutions. Your expertise in federal procurement and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in forging strategic relationships and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts, from proposal to closeout, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with program management, finance, and legal teams to develop comprehensive business proposals and solutions.
  • Advise senior management on contract terms, risks, and opportunities for strategic growth.
  • Maintain meticulous records and correspondence, responding promptly to data calls and contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate and execute various agreements, including NDAs, teaming agreements, and licensing agreements.
  • Provide strategic counsel to program managers and stakeholders, fostering productive relationships across departments.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (relevant experience considered).
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance; TS/SCI eligibility highly desirable.
  • Minimum 8 years of federal government contracting experience, with expertise in DoD and IC contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and general contract law principles.
  • Familiarity with export control laws, acquisition policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with various contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.) and commercial terms.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
