Key Responsibilities
  • Assay Development and Validation: Lead the development and validation of new assays, including GxP assays, to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Principal Investigator (PI): Serve as PI for multiple assigned projects, overseeing study design, execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Study Design and Execution: Contribute to study design, execution, and troubleshooting, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  • Technical and Administrative Lead: Act as the technical and administrative lead for studies, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Protocol and Report Authorship: Author and review protocols, reports, deviations, and audit responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train scientists on techniques and assays, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Supervision: Supervise up to three direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Quality Control: Perform QC functions to ensure data and report accuracy, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with QAU, scientists, PIs, project staff, and external clients, ensuring effective collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Expertise: Expertise in immunoassays and cell-based assay techniques, with strong background in GLP and cGMP standards.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and teamwork skills, with proficient communication, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
