Job Description:

The Project Specialist will support the coordination of special freight handling for oversized and heavy loads, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries. You will be responsible for managing air and ocean freight, both import and export, with a focus on meeting customer deadlines and maintaining accurate shipment records.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with clients and subcontractors regarding shipment status
  • Update shipment ETAs and provide visibility to customers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues with customers
  • Ensure timely submission of import/export documentation
  • Monitor project budgets and manage cost variations
  • Approve subcontractor invoices and handle client invoicing
  • Manage logistics tasks using Cargowise and other systems

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding
  • Experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain industries
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Cargowise
  • Air export experience is a strong plus
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
