Logistics Specialists – Itasca, IL

Today, we are committed to optimizing routes and our transition to electric vehicles.

We are currently looking for (2) Logistics Specialists to add to our team in the Itasca location. Ideal candidates will have prior logistics experience and will have a solid understanding of the basic principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule pickups and deliveries; support the organization in maintaining a high level of transportation timeliness and cost efficiency
  • Verify shipping documents and send invoice to customer
  • Work in the tracking system and input entity changes, such as name and address changes, on internal system
  • Perform general administrative work including drafting email correspondence to customers, sorting, batching, or grouping documents, pulling electronic files on behalf of management when needed
  • Utilize Excel to generate weekly reports for management
  • Keep management updated on current projects
  • Engage in effective communication with all departments
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, to ensure workload coverage

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of logistics experience is a MUST
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a faced-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
