About the Role: As a Business Development/ Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing business development-sales strategies to increase sales and overall business growth. You will direct and lead the sales team as well as coordinate with operations & trade managers and the marketing team. Your strong sales acumen, leadership abilities, and industry (AC, Plumbing & Electrical) knowledge will be instrumental in achieving and exceeding sales targets, as well as fostering a customer-centric culture within the sales department. Helping to leverage the offering by making sure the business offers the right services and products to customers with an up-to-date pricebook and tasks for the team to use. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.
  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion and partnership development.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, fostering customer loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, setting clear goals and objectives, and tracking individual and team performance.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring effective lead generation, qualification, and follow-up.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the sales team, keeping them up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement coaching and improvement plans as necessary.
  • Training for the entire business to improve business development processes from call center to techs running service calls.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, trends, and advancements, and share knowledge with the team to promote continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth coordination of projects and exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant information to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in home services sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in a sales management or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry (AC, Plbg & Elec), products, and services.
  • Experience in business development, with a track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
  • Service Titan experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
