Job Description: The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business operations, including managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth. The GM will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence, developing strategic plans, and implementing best practices to achieve company goals.

The ideal candidate is a high-functioning individual who works with urgency, loves to own their job, and commits to its success. They should have a strong business-to-consumer sales pedigree, HVAC knowledge is not mandatory but it is preferred. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and growth targets.
  • Oversee and manage staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and problem resolution.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and manage expenses to achieve profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Report to the company's executive team and provide regular updates on business performance and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial principles, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High-functioning individual with a sense of urgency and commitment to job success.
  • Strong business-to-consumer sales pedigree.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and services.
