Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Quality Director to manage our quality assurance and improvement efforts. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing quality policies, standards, and systems to ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Create testing methods and practices: Design and implement testing methodologies and best practices. Determine the specifications and expectations for products, as well as the qualitative and quantitative tests to ensure that each product meets these standards.
  2. Oversee testing activities: Develop and incorporate new processes and methodologies to ensure products meet specifications.
  3. Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in all products.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and engineering, to identify and address quality issues.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  6. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
  7. Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent quality standards.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of finished goods, raw materials, and components.
  9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  10. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality management.
  11. Receive and review all customer satisfaction surveys and customer complaints, reviewing complaint trends and product/component failure analysis; reviews and implements corrective actions.
  12. Improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste
  13. Help to create and oversee budgets and engage in cost management strategies


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
