This is a 400+ bed hospital. This healthcare system was named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by TJC. The American College of Surgeons accredits this hospital as a Level l Trauma Center. This healthcare system is also certified by TJC as a Primary Stroke Center and received the Get with the Guidelines-Stroke Gold- Plus Quality Achievement Award from the AHA. As a Joint-Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, they are one of a few hospitals in the County to be a preferred treatment hospital for stroke patients. This level of certification for advanced stroke care recognizes the significant differences in resources, staff, and training necessary to treat complex stroke cases.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise activities and day-to-day operations of one or more patient business services functions: admitting, insurance billing, charge, etc.
  • Evaluate work performance and progress of subordinate employees; develop and implement comprehensive training programs for division personnel
  • Guide staff and coordinate the work of units supervised
  • Assist in developing, updating, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the most efficient methods of achieving revenue


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public, healthcare, or hospital administration, or related field
  • 1 year supervisory experience over a patient access or revenue cycle or patient business services
