In this position, you will oversee a team of hourly associates and will be accountable for engaging your team throughout their shifts to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

Your role will also be crucial in ensuring we meet our customer commitments, guaranteeing that orders are fulfilled accurately and punctually.


Our Operations workflow consists of three primary phases: First mile - where products are stored and prepared for orders; Middle mile - where orders are transported to your area; and Last mile - where products are delivered to customers' doorsteps.

While workflows may have slight variations, one constant remains:
our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and inspire your hourly team members
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments
  • Collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to create strategies that align with business goals
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently engage in physical activities such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels, which can be loud
  • Adapt to environments with fluctuating temperatures and weather conditions
  • Continuously navigate stairs (if applicable)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee and performance management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean methodologies
  • Experience managing a team of 20 or more employees
  • Familiarity with process improvement techniques (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
  • Industry experience in retail, food and beverage, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution sectors.

Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets.

The base salary for this role ranges from $61,400/year in our lowest geographic market to $100,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Compensation is influenced by several factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
