As an Office Support and HR Generalist, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

 

  • Support all office, administrative and HR functions, including: preparing contracts, monitoring quality data, fielding staff EMR questions, recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, employee/labor relations, compensation, and employee development
  • Administer HR procedures, assist with the development and implementation of personnel policies, and maintain employee handbook
  • Organize recruitment efforts, conduct new hire orientations and monitor career pathing programs
  • Oversee employee performance evaluations
  • Maintain HR Information System and ensure compliance with federal/state employment regulations

A few must-haves for Office Support and HR Generalists:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Office and HR Support related job duties, ideally in healthcare
  • LVN work experience along with office support experience preferred
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, hospice, and home care regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and computer software proficiency
