Inventory Control Specialist

Plymouth

As the Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll be responsible for performing inventory audits, cycle counts, and racking audits in the bulk, finished goods, and dry storage areas. Also responsible for conducting investigations, and reporting of inventory discrepancies and shipping errors

  • Perform aisle audits, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and reporting to maintain accurate inventory levels in Plymouth and Oostburg facility locations.
  • Run inventory queries, import results in an Excel spreadsheet, sort, print and investigate the results.
  • Conduct investigations and regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy and identify inventory discrepancies.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and shipping errors.
  • Perform interdepartmental requests including, but not limited to, transition items, interplant transfers, non-conformances, and mail run.
  • Participate in cycle counts during holidays and year-end audits.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Inventory Control Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, and/or Executive Vice President.

What You Can Offer

  • Associate Degree in Supply Chain, relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Previous Microsoft Excel experience required.

  • Inventory control and forklift experience preferred.

  • Must have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, problem solving ability and accuracy.
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the ERP system, personal computer, Microsoft Office and Outlook products.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Must be forklift certified or ability to become.
  • Ability to travel between Oostburg and Plymouth locations.
