About the Role

The National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiters is seeking an experienced Infection Control Specialist to assume the role of Infection Control and Prevention Program Supervisor.

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading healthcare organization and contribute to the development and implementation of infection control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Orient and train new staff on infection control protocols and best practices.
  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of transmission of pathogenic microorganisms.
  • Monitor compliance with infection control policies and procedures through regular audits, checklists, and observations.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to prevent healthcare-associated infections in patients and prevent injuries and illnesses in healthcare personnel.
Requirements
  • Current MA Dental Assistant License required.
  • Training in infection control theory and practice.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a community health center and/or a clinical environment performing infection control duties as a practicing licensed dental assistant.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven organizational and computer literacy skills, including basic Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
