Position Overview: We are engaged in a confidential search for a Manufacturing Financial Controller with our client, a prominent global supplier in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors.

This senior-level role will collaborate closely with the executive team to translate business strategies into actionable plans that yield significant results for this vital facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, fixed asset management, inventory oversight, forecasting, cost accounting, and related analytical evaluations.
  • Manage the monthly financial closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Guarantee that internal controls are effectively designed and functioning as intended.
  • Supervise fixed asset accounting, including the review of capital projects, asset capitalization, and the physical inventory of fixed assets.
  • Accountable for inventory management, ensuring robust inventory controls, reconciling monthly inventory balances, identifying issues with overage and aging materials, and coordinating periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor costing activities, along with conducting variance analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plant Controller or Plant Accounting Manager.
  • Experience in manufacturing is essential.

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
