Job Overview

The Vehicle Title Processing Specialist is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks related to vehicle documentation, including but not limited to titles, registrations, license plates, and other essential legal documents pertaining to vehicle ownership and sales.

This role also involves assisting with inventory management, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports and dealer trade documents.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience in a dealership environment and familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS is advantageous.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role is desirable.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage titles and registrations with the appropriate state authorities.
  • Assist in maintaining vehicle inventory control and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare checks for lien payoffs, referrals, and refunds as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with dealership staff.
  • Conduct timely title audits and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Maintain a police book and perform various accounting duties as assigned.
