Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs the Associate Director of IT Operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing, implementing and optimizing our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will span across various domains including Microsoft 365 and Entra, cybersecurity, cloud, and networking. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems and services.

Position Responsibilities: 1. **Microsoft 365 Administration**
  •   Manage and administer all aspects of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other associated applications.
  •   Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 configurations, policies, and security settings to meet business needs while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  •   Monitor system health, performance, and usage, implementing optimizations and improvements as necessary.
  •   Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 applications and services, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  •   Stay updated with Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices, evaluating and implementing new capabilities to enhance productivity and efficiency.
2. **Entra Administration**
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Entra, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to align Entra configurations with business requirements.
  • Implement Entra security measures and protocols to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
3. **Cybersecurity**
  •  Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats.
  •  Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
  •  Deploy and manage security solutions such as endpoint protection and vulnerability management tools.
  •  Monitor security logs and alerts, investigate security incidents, and coordinate incident response activities.
  •  Provide cybersecurity awareness training and education to employees to foster a culture of security awareness and compliance.
4. **Networking**
  • Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and implement optimizations to enhance network efficiency and performance.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages, implementing solutions and performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay informed about emerging networking technologies and best practices, evaluating and recommending new solutions to enhance our network infrastructure.
5. **AWS Experience (Preferred)**
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and best practices for cloud infrastructure management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT operations management, with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration, Entra, cybersecurity, and networking.
  • Expertise in administering Microsoft 365 applications, Entra, and implementing cybersecurity measures.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking principles, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience leading IT projects from conception to completion, with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, ITIL certifications, or AWS certifications are a plus.

Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands.
