Role:
Responsible for routine consumer loan servicing administrative tasks for all credit union locations which includes but is not limited to processing loan payments and/or distributions, creating and updating loan tracking, conducting loan file review, managing loan collateral, insurance, and UCC's, and consumer loan reversals.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Ensures consumer loan files and collateral tracking are complete.
- Responsibility for managing current insurance, UCC, and lien titles. Drafting letters and monitoring reports to ensure compliance, per policy.
- Filing online CUNA disability and life insurance claims and applying claim payments to member accounts.
- Process all consumer loan paid files. Ensuring that all lien releases and applicable documentation is processed within required timelines.
- Responsible for conducting consumer loan department loan reversals.
- Review consumer loan file maintenance reports.
- Manage consumer loan subsequent actions and ensuring compliance.
- Assist members with questions and troubleshooting issues that can be resolved by support. Relaying any issues to the respectful lender that is not able to be resolved.
- Assist consumer loan officers as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:

Maintain all assigned files on a daily basis.

Dispose of obsolete files according to Credit Union procedure.

Keep management informed regarding operating issues affecting the department.
5.
Prepare all reports in a timely manner with minimal errors.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills
Good attention to detail, able to see differences in words and numbers used to classify materials for filing.
Physical Requirements
FINGER DEXTERITY: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.
TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
REPETITIVE MOTION: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
