POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This role will be performing a variety of activities including new loan boarding, data input of transactions and quality review of the core loan system to support the AG, Commercial, Consumer and Mortgage loan portfolio. Loans include but are not limited to: Syndication/Participation, SWAPs, SBA, Letters of Credit and real estate. Functions include loan boarding, research and analysis of boarding data and maintenance transactions for completeness and consistency with the signed loan documents. Escrow servicing, Interacting with internal and external customers handling the more complex customer inquiries and requests.

Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all U.S. State and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process advances, payments, pay-downs and payoffs on loans as needed during your part of the loan process.
  • Manage loan data and on-going system maintenance for Ag, commercial, consumer and residential loans on the core system.
  • Research and resolve complex system processing issues and errors.
  • Post and send payments for Participation loans.
  • Process collateral releases on paid loans.
  • Process MERS MIN Deactivations through MERS on paid loans.
  • Balance and reconcile loan clearing GL and other accounts as needed.
  • Manage post loan boarding collateral ticklers.
  • Review and QC the appropriate parts of new loans boarded to the core accounting system Fiserv-Precision. (AG, Commercial, Consumer and Mortgage loans)
  • Review and QC the appropriate parts of loan extensions and renewals boarded to the core accounting system (Fiserv-Precision).
  • Complete, review, submit and/or distribute required reports, being sure to meet deadline requirements.
  • Assist front-line support, customers and lending staff as well as other associates with questions regarding Loan Servicing.
  • Answer overflow calls that come into the Loan Operations department extension or when staffing needs arise.
  • Assist with sending delinquent letters to customers with delinquent real-estate taxes.
  • Follow and assist with establishing, implementing and maintaining methods and procedures to assure all loan servicing actions are processed correctly and timely. Maintain a comprehensive procedures manual on all job responsibilities.
  • Escrow Servicing- not limited to flood insurance tracking and disbursements, PMI, disbursement of insurance and real estate tax escrow payments, and annual tax and insurance escrow analysis.
  • Research and resolve complex system processing issues and errors
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in the financial services industry or equivalent, with at least five years in Banking Operations preferred but not required.
  • Loan Operations and servicing experience, or relative equivalent experience preferred but not required
  • In-depth knowledge of daily loan operations functions
  • Effective problem solving and resolution skills
  • High level of accuracy and detail-orientation
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workflow
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Fiserv Banking platform a plus
