Blue Danube Productions, an audio/visual event production company, is seeking an Administrative and Financial Assistant to join our team  The Administrative and Financial Assistant will be responsible for general office administrative duties as well as miscellaneous administrative duties such as collecting mail.  This position will assist in processing accurate financial transactions under the direction of a supervisor.  A basic understanding of financial and accounting best practices is necessary.  Must have knowledge of QuickBooks.

Blue Danube Productions offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days per week required in our south Seattle office. 

Key Responsibilities of the Administrative and Financial Assistant:
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts receivable processing
  • Accounts payable processing
  • Back up payroll – assist with payroll as needed
  • Assist with company travel arrangements
  • Assist with planning internal team-building events
  • Check mail (it’s at an offsite PO box)
  • Order/maintain office inventory of supplies as necessary
  • Assist CEO and COO with administrative duties, as requested
  • Complete timesheets, reports and paperwork on time
  • Adherence to the Blue Danube “Standards and Guidelines” policies
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters
  • Office general duties, as assigned

What the successful Administrative and Financial Assistant will have:                                             
  • Previous office administration experience – at least 3 years
  • Previous financial experience - at least 3 years
  • Previous Human Resources/Payroll experience, a plus
  • Office 365 proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop is necessary and required
  • Knowledge of PayNW, a plus
  • Fast-paced, growing company requiring quick turn-around, flexible, self-initiator, problem solver, and independent worker
  • Ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service at all times. Internally and externally.
  • Devote attention to communication and teamwork
  • Maintain a positive attitude                              

Compensation:
  • $32.50 - $35.00 per hour
