Food & Thought 2 is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Experience Specialist to join our Family. In this part-time role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a knack for creating positive interactions, this is the perfect opportunity for you Key Responsibilities Welcome and Engage: Greet guests warmly, making them feel at home and appreciated. Seamless Seating: Efficiently manage seating arrangements and escort guests to their tables. Reservation Management: Handle and track reservations with accuracy both over the phone and in person. Answer Inquiries: Provide clear information about our restaurant, answer questions, and assist with special requests. Collaborate with Team: Work effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen Fam to ensure smooth service. Maintain Environment: Keep the entrance, waiting area, and front desk clean, organized, and inviting. Promote and Inform: Share information about daily specials, events, and promotions to enhance the guest experience. Resolve Issues: Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding service that exceeds guest expectations. Manage Waitlist: Oversee the waitlist during busy periods, providing accurate wait times and managing guest flow. Qualifications Passion for Service: Strong enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Excellent Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills. Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to high-quality service. Energetic Personality: Positive and energetic with a strong team spirit. Language Skills: Proficiency in English required; Spanish is a plus. Footwear: Non-slip shoes required (not provided). Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S. Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old. Transportation: Reliable transportation required. Physical Requirements Manual Dexterity: Skilled in both gross and fine manipulation. Vision Acuity: Strong peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy. Hearing Ability: Able to effectively hear and respond to instructions. Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Capable of handling and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining focus. Flexibility and Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move. Tolerance to Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in varied temperatures (hot, humid, cold) and handling moderate dust and cleaning agents. Allergy Tolerance: Ability to work with a variety of fresh ingredients without adverse reactions. Step-Stool and Ladder Use: Confidently use a step-stool or ladder as needed. Physical Balance: Maintain stability and balance while performing tasks. Clear Communication Skills: Convey instructions clearly in busy or noisy environments.
