Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders, ensuring to verify their age for alcohol service.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding menu items and take food orders, clearly explaining preparation methods and ingredients.
  • Input food orders into the kitchen system accurately.
  • Serve meals to guests promptly and courteously.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs that arise.
  • Handle post-meal clean-up and prepare for the next service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables, including vacuuming and arranging seating.
  • Restock service areas with necessary supplies, including food, beverages, and tableware.
  • Report tips at the end of each shift as per company policy and legal requirements.
  • Stay vigilant regarding safety protocols and report any issues to management immediately.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sanitation practices.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to assisting guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to identify and communicate problems to management effectively.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to move around the dining area frequently and perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Comfortable navigating stairs and varying temperatures in kitchen areas.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English for work-related documentation.
  • Effective verbal communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical presence at the job site is essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.

Equipment Utilized:

  • Touch-screen computers, POS systems, and credit card processing machines.
  • Various restaurant tools and supplies, including trays and cleaning materials.
