Job DescriptionJob Description

Solvere Technical Group is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist to support the Atlantic Surface Fleet in Norfolk, Virginia.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with tracking of FAMs, MSU’s, Security Updates for the CNSL afloat units including message traffic
  • Assist with the tracking of CTS taskers, re-addressal messages to subordinate commands
  • Assist with the tracking of RMF process for subordinate commands
  • Track CNSL Cyber Mitigation Plan, Bravo Zulu, and Green E database
  • Liaise with the N6 Admin for appointments, on-site visits, preparing executive level briefs using provided input
  • Knowledge management assistance with departmental share-drive
  • Assist in maintaining repository for various command instructions and information
  • Liaise between contractor group and government representatives to track various tasks
  • Assign trouble tickets and track command trouble ticket database
  • Assist in maintaining list(s) of personnel arriving at and leaving command for N6 department
  • Assist in maintaining email distribution lists
  • Assist new check-ins with SAAR process and explain N6 resources available

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess four (4) years' experience and familiarity with shipboard IT systems.
  • Experience should be with various DoD/DoN websites such as: Sailor, VRAM, CMPro, Cyber.mil.
  • This work requires experience with Fleet Advisory Messages (FAM), Mandatory Security Updates (MSU), Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in Navy Information Technology or Message Traffic is desirable.
  • Data Entry: 2 years (Required)
  • Customer service: 4 years (Required)
  • Reading message traffic: 2 years (Required)

TRAVEL:

  • Travel is NOT required for this position.

SECURITY:

  • Secret Clearance is required.
