Job Description: This position is responsible for facilitating sustainable financial growth through boosting sales with new

business development and assisting in the further development of strong relationships with existing clients.


The Sales Account Manager will be expected to develop growth strategies and plans, increase client base, have an in-depth

knowledge of business products and value proposition, write business proposals, negotiate with stakeholders, identify and

map business strengths and customer needs, research business opportunities and viable income streams as well follow

industry trends domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:


· Sales Account Manager - responsible for creating a development strategy for products with specific goals,

time deadlines, with a structured plan of execution and analytics to measure results

· Achieve distribution, pricing, and promotion for branded and industrial products by working with

Branded/Marketing/Sales departments and company to offer latest trends or company focused

opportunities

· Ensure customer performance at or above standards in all key selling areas including distribution, pricing,

and promotion

· Improve sales campaigns for products and Manufacturers Brands, build and improve product awareness,

and support customers/accounts in their market-specific marketing efforts of these products.

· Customer Service

· Maximize business and identify opportunities to add on new items based on evaluation

· Meet company guidelines for order Profit Margin

· Sales Forecasting by account and at the product level to anticipate growth and foresee potential issues

· Reorder Analysis of products taken to see purchasing trends and identify opportunities to grow

· Understand the markets of accounts under management and what competitors are doing in those

markets. Be able to strategize opportunities based on this knowledge.

· In depth knowledge of Account, buy patterns, items imported, relationships with other US suppliers,

category review times, seasonal purchasing needs, etc.

Employment Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree (Marketing/Sales/Business/Food Science a plus)

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· 5+ years business development, sales and sales management experience in the food industry


Preferred Requirements: · Experience with ERP & CRM Software Packages · Relevant Food industry experience a plus

Working Conditions:

Indoor office setting, with occasional outdoor trips; able to sit for up to 8 hours
