Who we’re looking for:


We are seeking a National Security Systems Cybersecurity Risk Management and Compliance Lead (Top Secret Cleared) to support the architecture and security engineering of our network systems. This role requires staying current with technological advancements and providing subject matter expertise in security engineering and governance risk and compliance. The National Security Systems Cybersecurity Risk Management and Compliance Lead will have the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of support to a federal client and will be encouraged to grow as the organization expands.

 

What you’ll be doing:                                                                     

 

  • Document changes and recommend updates to architecture and design documents by staying current with technological trends.
  • Develop processes and procedures for continuous monitoring of software, systems, and devices on networks.
  • Review and analyze trends in technology as they apply to cybersecurity and create white papers as requested.
  • Develop draft guidance and policy for the implementation of virtual and cloud environments.
  • Create and maintain an inventory of automation scripts and queries to support the architectural role.
  • Provide architecture subject matter expertise to the Government, including cybersecurity security and engineering principles.
  • Review, analyze, and provide feedback on system architectures of various National Security Systems (NSS).
  • Analyze continuous monitoring, configuration management, vulnerability management, asset management, software management and self-reported data to identify trends and anomalies cybersecurity performance and mitigation of risks.
  • Develop Security Impact Analysis (SIA) reports and support audit responses (e.g., FISMA evaluations, GAO, OIG audits).
  • Create presentations and briefs related to security architecture.
  • Document security engineering requirements and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

 

What you need to know:

 

  • Experience in Security Engineering and Governance Risk and Compliance support.
  • Proficiency in continuous monitoring, configuration management, vulnerability management, and software management.
  • Experience in drafting and maintaining SOP documents for processes internal and external to the Branch and analyzing security performance metrics.
  • Ability to review system design, architecture, and interconnection documents.
  • Knowledge of audit processes and security impact analysis.

 

Must have’s:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or additional 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • One or more of the following certifications: PMP, GISP, CISM, CISSP, or CGRC.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required to start.
