Job Overview:
The role of the Cybersecurity Systems Security Manager is critical in ensuring the protection of sensitive information and systems.

Position Summary:

The selected individual will join the Security & Emergency Services division, serving as a Cybersecurity Systems Security Manager. This position is vital for safeguarding advanced engineering and manufacturing systems through the application of innovative cybersecurity strategies.

By addressing the challenges of creating a secure environment for defense operations, space missions, environmental sustainability, and commercial applications, this role contributes significantly to national safety.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily cybersecurity operations, including the implementation of hardware and software solutions.
  • Execute technical management of information systems in line with internal security protocols and client requirements, focusing on Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to network and security incidents effectively.
  • Maintain compliance documentation within the designated automated tracking system or collaborate with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to formulate a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) for addressing compliance issues.
  • Ensure the secure operation, maintenance, and disposal of systems in accordance with established security policies and procedures.
  • Manage competing priorities across various clients and projects.
  • Conduct audits as a significant aspect of this role's responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment.
  • Experience in IT Systems and Information Assurance.
  • Background in network security.
  • Familiarity with the RMF process.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Security Directives, Policies, Publications, and Regulations.
  • Strong communication abilities.

Work Environment:
