Position Overview:
In today's digital landscape, cyber threats are omnipresent, and their rapidly changing nature can pose significant challenges for government entities.

The solution lies in the expertise of a cybersecurity risk management specialist like you, who can simplify intricate threats into actionable strategies.

As a cybersecurity risk management specialist, you will leverage your extensive experience to collaborate with national security and intelligence community clients to identify their cyber vulnerabilities, comprehend relevant policies, and formulate effective mitigation strategies.

Your role will involve a thorough examination of technical and environmental factors to evaluate the complete threat landscape. Subsequently, you will guide clients through actionable plans, utilizing presentations, whitepapers, and key milestones.

Your expertise will help clients translate security concepts, directives, and controls into practical actions, enabling them to make informed decisions to safeguard their mission-critical systems.

Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity
- Proven experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), or Information System Security Manager (ISSM)
- Familiarity with assessment and authorization processes for Intelligence Community clients in line with ICD 503 standards
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ICD 503, CNSS, and NIST standards, processes, and controls
- Proficiency in cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools
- Knowledge of various operating systems and technologies, including Windows, Linux, cloud environments, virtualization, and wireless systems
- Understanding of customer IT systems and requirements for information assurance and authorization activities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Cybersecurity Certifications such as Security+, GSEC, or CISSP

Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
