Position Overview:

In the face of pervasive cyber threats, government entities require expert guidance to navigate the complexities of information security. As a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in demystifying these challenges and providing actionable strategies to mitigate risks.

Your Role:

As a member of our dedicated team, you will leverage your extensive experience to collaborate with clients in the national security and intelligence sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and analyzing cyber risks to develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of technical and environmental factors to evaluate the threat landscape.
  • Creating detailed presentations and whitepapers to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Translating complex security concepts into practical actions that empower clients to safeguard their critical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), or Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Familiarity with assessment and authorization processes for Intelligence Community clients, specifically under ICD 503 guidelines.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ICD 503, CNSS, and NIST standards, including their implementation processes.
  • Experience with cybersecurity defense tools and vulnerability assessments.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems and technologies, including Windows, Linux, cloud environments, and virtualization.
  • Understanding of client IT systems and requirements related to information assurance.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Advanced cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, GSEC, or CISSP.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
