About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cybersecurity Risk Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our national security and intelligence community clients understand and mitigate their cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to help clients protect their mission-critical systems.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their technical and environmental details, and provide guidance on how to translate security concepts into actionable plans.
  • Develop and present reports, whitepapers, and other materials to help clients make informed decisions about their cybersecurity posture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address emerging cybersecurity threats.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM, with a strong understanding of ICD 503 requirements.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, and a strong understanding of customer IT systems and requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ICD 503, CNSS, NIST requirements, processes, and controls, and the ability to implement them.
  • Experience with cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools, and a strong understanding of operating systems, platforms, and technologies.
  • Advanced cybersecurity certifications, such as Security+, GSEC, or CISSP.
