Role: Billing Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay: $24 - $26 / hour

Industry: Healthcare Services

Responsibilities:

  • Processes, prints and/or emails resident’s monthly billing statements
  • Creates and maintains permanent Resident Files and Accounts Receivable Files
  • Provides excellent customer service in responding to billing questions from residents and/or family members
  • Maintains Accounts Receivable Aging for All Payors
  • Primary liaison with external Medicare Billing Contractor
  • Assists residents with filing Long Term Care Insurance Claims
  • Supports accurate and timely recording of all transactions into the General Ledger

Requirements:

  • 2 - 4 years Billing/Accounts Receivable Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • Industry experience a plus
